When a customer views and edits a photo in a product, the photo is displayed as realistically as possible within the product so the customer can see what the final product will look like with the photo.
Upload only color files to your events – the customer can convert the photos to black and white or sepia tones during the ordering phase.
Product Features
If you produce the products yourself, you can define various features for your products, such as material and coating options, and set additional charges for these options if needed.
If you are using a photo lab, the lab has defined which additional features are available for each product. You can choose per product which features you want to offer to your customers and at what price.
To edit product features, click the gear icon at the end of the product row on the pricing page and select "Product Features".
Creating Your Own Products
If you produce the products yourself, you can also create your own products in the service.
Basic products such as photo and sticker sheets or prints in different sizes can be created freely. Some more complex products (e.g., matted photos or framed prints) can be created if there is a ready-made product template available in the service that you can copy and modify.
You can create your own products by navigating to the "Your Products" link found on the "Pricing" page.
For example, to add a new matted product to your product selection:
Go to Admin > Settings > Price lists.
From the top bar, select Custom Products > Create Product.
Choose a base product or start from scratch.
Upload a sample image and save it to your computer.
Open the sample image in Photoshop, add your mat image, and create an opening where the customer’s photo will appear.
Save the finished image in PNG format.
Enter a name and category for the product.
Upload your PNG image as the overlay.
Save.
The product is now available in your pricing list.
For example, to add a new framed product in 10x15 or 15x20 size:
Go to Admin > Settings > Price lists.
From the top bar, select Custom Products > Create Product.
Select a base product, for example, "Framed Photo, 10x15 cm, Portrait".
Click "Download Sample Overlay".
Create your image according to the template and save it in PNG format.
The sample image includes a 0.5 cm frame margin around the opening.
If needed, you can adjust the size of the opening, but do not expand onto the light area to ensure the photo aligns properly in the frame.
Enter a name and the external dimensions for the product (depth is optional).
Upload your PNG overlay image.
Save.
The product is now available in your pricing list.
Test Your Product First
Test your new product in your own photo event before publishing it to customers to ensure that the photo aligns correctly in the product.
