Using the Lightroom -plugin

If you use Adobe Lightroom in your workflow, you can send images directly to the service from Lightroom by using our Lightroom plugin.

  1. Download the Lightroom plugin from:
    https://www.fotosky.no/downloads/fotosky.lrplugin.zip

  2. Install the plugin in Lightroom following these instructions:
    https://www.adobe.com/learn/lightroom-classic/web/lightroom-use-manage-plugins

  3. Once you have installed the plugin, double-click the “Fotosky” entry in the “Publish Services” list.

The Lightroom Publish Manager will open. Enter your username and password and click Sign In. Do not press the Enter or Save button, as the settings will not be saved correctly if you do.

Once you’re signed in, your window should look like this. Click the Save button, but don’t click Refresh Photo Events just yet.

Next, double-click the Fotosky button in the Publish Services panel.

Now, click Refresh Photo Events.

Under the Fotosky category, you should now see year folders containing your photo events.

Drag the photos you want into the photo event folder, then click Publish. Your photos will now transfer to Fotosky. In the Fotosky admin, it may take a moment for thumbnails to generate—you might see an hourglass icon at first, but your photos will appear shortly.

Once you’re signed in to Lightroom, it will automatically fetch new photo events each time you open Lightroom. You shouldn’t need to sign in again later.
